2019 - Nursing Research Centers

The focus of the proposal
The main input is a 2-story wing of the hedge, current nursing home, connected to it by a connecting passage upstairs. Assembly and offices adjacent to the street-level apartment annex 'is lower in plots closer to shore.
The proposal combines a clear structure and space experience which links new construction, older house, and unique natural environment in the foreground. Complexion Annex Building Committee is modest, lightness is paramount, height and proportions of the building adapt to hedge and built around.

The proposal combines a clear structure and space experience which links the Government House, new construction and urban space environment in the foreground. 2018 - Kindergarten Seltjarnarnes

The focus of the proposal
The main input is an angle shaped building on 1 - 2 hills along the south coast and Nesvegi. The proposal establishing a clear structure to the main intersection Seltjarnarness and so creates a complete street view. The building shelters for the prevailing winds and frames a sunny playground preschool. Formed in lively breaking of both floors where the building and outdoor areas merge into one living entity.

key assumptions
This is a new kindergarten building for up to 300 children with major intersections Seltjarnarness. She combines kindergarten municipality under one roof and will be the center where a large proportion of the population comes together at the beginning and end of each day.
The new kindergarten is well positioned, he has a good relationship with the local community and services. View from the yard is strong, where you can see the natural beauty and life in the adjacent streets. 2018 - Northwest Elementary School Húnaþings, extension

New wing of the Primary Húnaþings west of 1028 m2 in size, located north of the existing school building and stretches from the west and the east of the country. Building retrieves its form and proportions of the existing school building and the environment. VA Arkitektar og Landmótun hlutu fyrstu verðlaun í hugmyndasamkeppni um nýtt skipulag Landmannalaugasvæðis.

Í umsögn dómnefndar segir að tillagan feli í sér róttækar hugmyndir um endurheimt landgæða í Laugum. “Um sterka og djarfa skipulagshugmynd er að ræða sem getur myndað góðan grunn fyrir áframhaldandi skipulagsvinnu á svæðinu.”
