At VA architects are we have a group of talented and experienced designers and architects who work together towards quality architectural solutions - from the preliminary sketches to the finished structure.
VA ARCHITECTS has it's origins back in 1959 1959 when Manfred Vilhjalmsson founded an architectural practice under his own name. GÞ and HH workshop. was founded in 1968 by the arkitekts Geirharður Þorsteinsson and Hróbjartur Hróbjartsson, and they ran this practice until 1983 when Richard Ólafur Briem, Sigríður Sigþórsdóttir and Sigurður Björgúlfsson joined the team and founded the Architect´s Workshop, but Geirharður left the company shortly after. In 2000 when 5 new partners were added to the group and a new practice was established. The new company was named VA Architects. On new years 2003/2004 Manfreð Vilhjálmsson and VA Architects joined forces. Currently the partners of VA architects are; Heba Hertervig, Helena Björgvinsdóttir, Indro Candi, Johann Harðarson, Karl Magnús Karlsson, Magdalena Sigurðardóttir and Steinunn Halldórsdóttir.
