Competition for extensions that included e.g.. new outdoor pool, -area, pots and changing rooms as well as renovations to the older building which is listed. Size 2.661 m². The swimming pool was taken into use 1937 and was designed by the then State Master Carpenter Guðjón Samúelsson. The first building of the City of Reykjavík to receive BREEAM- environmental certification.
